Steve Van Every

Steve Van Every is an experienced nonprofit development professional with an extensive background in grant writing, fundraising, and donor communications. Throughout his career, he has helped small- and medium-sized nonprofit organizations secure millions of dollars in funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
At Elevate Partners Consulting, Steve helps nonprofits identify funding opportunities, develop compelling grant proposals, and build practical fundraising strategies designed around their mission and organizational capacity. His work has included developing grant proposals and fundraising strategies, creating donor communications and fundraising materials, managing capital campaigns, coordinating special appeals, and helping organizations strengthen their overall fund development efforts.
Steve’s passion and dedication are rooted in his understanding of the challenges smaller nonprofit organizations face when competing for limited resources. He brings a practical, results-oriented approach to helping clients clearly communicate their impact, cultivate meaningful connections with funders and donors, and develop sustainable strategies for generating the resources needed to advance their mission.

Atearah Pelham
Partner | Grant Writing & Nonprofit Communications
Atearah Pelham brings a background in writing, research, human services, communications, and program coordination to Elevate Partners Consulting. Her experience working with and volunteering alongside a variety of organizations and within different communities has given her a firsthand understanding of the people, programs, and purpose behind nonprofit work. Those experiences shaped her understanding of how much goes into bringing an idea to life and how important strong communication, thoughtful planning, and the right resources can be along the way.
Her journey has allowed her to bring that perspective to Elevate, where she works alongside nonprofits to understand what they are trying to accomplish and help them communicate it in a way that feels authentic to who they are.
At Elevate, Atearah supports organizations through grant research, proposal development, organizational narratives, donor communications, website content, and other materials that support their fundraising and organizational goals.
Atearah is especially interested in helping organizations recognize the strengths they already have, identify opportunities for growth, and build on what is already working.
The heart of her work is a belief in the value of service and the power of organizations to create meaningful change within their communities.
